MicroIP and BrainChip Announce Strategic Ecosystem Partnership to Deliver Advanced Edge AI Hardware and Software

 

LAGUNA HILLS, Calif. and HSINCHU CITY, TAIWAN – June 2, 2026 – BrainChip Inc., a leading provider of ultra-low-power, neuromorphic AI semiconductor intellectual property, today announced a strategic eco-system partnership agreement with MicroIP, an expert in hardware and software products, machine learning (ML) applications, models and ASIC designs. 

Under the terms of the agreement, the two companies will accelerate the deployment of intelligent, highly efficient AI systems for the Taiwan and global electronics market. The collaboration bridges BrainChip’s advanced neuromorphic neural processing unit (NPU) technology featuring sub one-watt chips and ML toolchains with MicroIP’s system-level architecture, hardware module and ASIC design, as well as software integration. 

The partnership targets critical, high-growth edge AI application programs, including:

  • Acoustic/voice processing and event detection 
  • Vision processing 
  • Radar/LiDAR processing 
  • Remote sensing 
  • Cybersecurity
  • Anomaly detection/classification
  • Noise suppression and signal enhancement 
  • Ultra-low-power edge inference systems 

As part of the joint technical framework, BrainChip will provide AI enablement support, including AI model guidance, access to its specialized model assets and toolchain enablement via its MetaTF development flow. MicroIP will support customer system-level architecture integration, and manage the hardware module design and validation, with the capability to deliver fully integrated, production-ready edge AI modules to customers.
